1. What Saga Studio is

Saga Studio is a web studio for generating images and video with third-party AI models (for example OpenAI, ByteDance, Kuaishou, Google models, routed through OpenRouter). By creating an account or using the service you accept these terms. If you do not agree with them, do not use the service.

2. Credits and billing

Prepaid credits. Rendering is paid from a prepaid balance, topped up via Stripe. Credits do not expire. Credits are a prepayment for rendering, not a currency or investment, and cannot be transferred between accounts.
Open pricing. Every render is billed at the model provider's published rate plus the margin stated on the live rate board. The margin is always shown before you pay — nothing is hidden in the price. Video renders are quoted before they start; image renders are billed on the provider's actual charge when they finish, because providers price images per output token.
Reconciliation. Token-priced quotes are estimates and are adjusted — up or down — to the provider's actual charge when the render completes.
Failed renders are refunded automatically and in full.
Refunds of unspent balance are not automatic; contact us (section 9) and we'll handle reasonable requests. Refunds go back to the payment method the balance was purchased with.

3. Acceptable use

You may not use Saga Studio to create or attempt to create:

content that is illegal where you or we operate;
sexual content involving minors, or any sexualised depiction of real people without their consent;
content that impersonates a real person or organisation in a way intended to deceive, including deceptive "deepfakes";
content that infringes someone else's intellectual property or privacy rights;
malware, fraud, harassment, or incitement to violence.

The underlying model providers run their own content moderation and may reject prompts; rejected renders are not charged. We may suspend accounts that repeatedly attempt prohibited content. You also may not probe, overload, or interfere with the service itself — including scraping, automated bulk account creation, or attempts to bypass billing.

4. Your content

Prompts you write and media you generate are yours, to the extent the underlying model provider's terms allow. We store your generations so the studio can show them to you; we don't sell them or use them to train models. You give us only the licence needed to operate the service — storing your prompts and media, sending prompts and reference media to the model provider you selected, and showing your library back to you. You are responsible for how you use what you generate, including checking that your use of AI-generated media complies with the laws that apply to you.

5. Privacy and data

This is the summary — the standalone privacy policy is the full version.

What we store: your account email, a salted hash of your password (never the password itself), your prompt history, generated media, and your credit ledger. If you sign in with Google we store the email address Google verifies for you; we never see your Google password.
Payments: card details go directly to Stripe and never touch our servers. We see only the amount and a payment reference.
Rendering: prompts and reference media are sent to the model provider you selected (via OpenRouter) to produce your render — that is the service working as described, and their handling is governed by their terms.
What we don't do: no advertising, no sale of personal data, no third-party analytics or tracking scripts. Your session is kept in your own browser's local storage.
Deletion: when your account is closed, your stored prompts and media are deleted. Payment records are retained as long as accounting law requires.

6. Accounts and eligibility

You can create an account with an email address and password, or by signing in with Google. You must be at least 18 to create an account and purchase credits, and you may hold only one account unless we agree otherwise. Keep your credentials safe — anyone with your session can spend your balance; tell us promptly if you believe your account is compromised. You can close your account at any time (section 9); unspent balance is refunded as described in section 2. We may close accounts that violate these terms; unspent balance on closed accounts is refunded unless the closure is for abuse.

7. Service and availability

The model roster, rates, and features change as providers change. The service is provided "as is", without warranty; we may modify or discontinue features. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount of unspent balance on your account. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, and nothing in them reduces consumer rights you have under mandatory local law.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service evolves. The "Last updated" date above always reflects the current version, and material changes will be announced in the studio before they take effect. Using the service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms; if you don't, you can close your account and request a refund of your unspent balance.
